To complete this How-To you will need: A gentle cleanser A moisturizer Humid air Whole milk or oil Soft cotton pajamas, socks, and gloves Step 1: Take short showers Limit your showers or baths to between 5 and 10 minutes, and use water that’s just warm, not hot. Staying in hot water, although it may feel luxurious, actually strips your skin’s natural oils. Step 2: Use moisturizing cleanser Use a moisturizing cleanser or one formulated for dry skin when you bathe. Regular soaps can be too harsh and will dehydrate skin. Tip: When taking a bath, try adding two cups of whole milk to the water at the beginning of the bath to provide a little extra moisture for dry skin. Step 3: Pat dry Don’t dry off completely after bathing. Blot yourself gently with a towel rather than rubbing so your skin is still damp. Tip: If you are using a topical prescription cream, always apply it between cleansing and moisturizing. Step 4: Apply moisturizer Apply a moisturizer to your whole body immediately after bathing and before your skin has completely dried. This helps lock …

My hair dries out mostly when i shampoo and even condition. The shampoo and conditioner is gonna run out soon som im gonna buy something new. How type of moisturizing Lotion do you use?
I asked a question earlier about why my 11 year old son has all this dead dry skin after he finishes bathing, and I told told that I need to apply a good thick moisturizing body lotion on him after he gets out while he is still damp.
What type of moisturizing lotion would you reccomend to use, and how much do I use each time he gets moisturized?

What moisturizing product would you recommend for dry hair?
I have very dry hair, lots of split ends. I dye it monthly, or so. I use a moisturizing conditioner daily, don’t shampoo it everyday, and use fekkai glossing cream with olive oil. What else do you recommend I use?
