I apply a shea butter moisturizer to my legs and arms in the morning but i can feel it rinse off when I shower?
at night. Does this mean it has not absorbed at all? How can I make the absorption better?

do it after you shower !!! and really work it in until its absorbed. anymore than that, and you’re over applying
You put too much on maybe
put it on right after (3-5 minutes after) you shower. especially after you shave and/or exfoliate. this GREATLY helps absorption because your pores are open then.
If you want it to absorb better then you should not use as much as you apply, use less and then you can rub it in more.
i use baby oil immediately after my shower or bath and it absorbs into my skin great
You will sweat out some of it during the day and that plus any residue is what will be washed off. The legs get drier by comparison than other areas of the body so they do need moisturiser. Maybe you’re applying too much or the product contains too much oil.
Maybe you are putting on too much. And just the extra is coming off. Try not using a lot. I use a shea butter lotion too and I don’t use a lot so I never feel it come off, and I put in on at night and shower in the morning so go figure. I also re-apply after my shower.
It just means it probably has mineral oil or something of the sort in it. I recommend the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. It has no mineral oil, will absorb almost completely and will last. You’ll feel a little bit wash off, but that’s ok.
instead of appling the moisturizer in the morning, apply it after you take a shower or you can take a shower in the morning the appy it then………
you legs just obsorbed what they needed, and you should apply more after you get out of the shower,, always.. Thats how the Shea Butter company stays in business.. : ^ )
BEST OF LUCK…
I thought when you take a shower the lotion washes away. . .Maybe I’m just stupid?
You might just be putting to much on. Put it on a few mins after the shower.
